Visitors to the 2010 Detroit Auto Show were brought face to face with 6 Progressive Insurance Automotive X PRIZE (PIAXP) competing vehicles in the Alternative Class. Edison2, Saba Motors, SSI Racing, Team EVI and ZAP were featured at the PIAXP Booth while Commuter Cars were offering the public the chance to test drive their Tango at the EcoXperience Track. I think this is a great competition and there are some really good cars. No matter who wins, what is important is to reach out to the public, young and old and wake them up to the fact that there are many ways we can travel that use much less gas.

The toronto auto show from autotrader was a huge disappointment, really just a lot of Japanese car manufacturers with like minded cars and occassionally Nissan had a model which really stuck out compared to the others, nothing good to see.
